How Nigerian Air Force plane crashed, killing all passengers, crew — Air Force


The Nigerian Air Force on Saturday said all travelers and team on board the Dornier-228 flying machine were killed in the accident that happened Saturday morning.

NAF representative, Dele Alonge, told PREMIUM TIMES that while the quantity of travelers and pilot on load up are yet to be determined, there were no survivors.

Mr. Alonge in an announcement said the flying machine, with call sign NAF030, collided with a house at Ribadu Cantonment, Kaduna.

"In spite of the fact that no loss was recorded on ground, there were no survivors among the travelers locally available the air ship," Mr. Alonge, an air commodore, said.

He said the flying machine was Abuja bound and had taken off at around 6:45am from the Kaduna Military Airfield before the accident.

"Assortments of the travelers have been recuperated and fire warriors are as of now at the accident site to abridge fire from spreading to different structures inside of the region," the representative said.

Likewise, the Chief of the Air Staff, Sadique Abubakar, an air marshal has prematurely ended his official outing to Port Harcourt, Mr. Alonge said in the announcement.

Mr. Abubakar is presently set to visit the site of the accident and groups of the perished work force in organization of the Air Officer Commanding, Training Command, Alikali Mamu, an air bad habit marshal.

Furthermore, Mr. Abubakar has set up an examination board headed by an Air Vice Marshal to disentangle the reason for the mischance with quick impact.
